We’re expecting UA to bring back the same Black Friday sale as they did last year: Hundreds of red-lined deals at 50% off when you shop their site or the UA App. Free shipping and free returns are always included for all online shoppers as well.

Expected Sale Start/End Times

• Rumored start time: Thursday, Thanksgiving day, November 24, 2022.
• Rumored end time: Cyber Monday November 28, 2022 or while supplies last.

UA was generous with their Black Friday sale last year, not only did they run a similar pre-Black Friday sale leading up to Thanksgiving, but their main sale ran all weekend long and into Cyber Monday. Just be aware that everything is always in limited quantities and select styles, colors or sizes may sell out early.

What Are The Important Exclusions?

In terms of Under Armour’s Black Friday sale last year, you couldn’t combine it with other promotions except for the military/firefighter/police discount. Other exclusions applied, such as gift cards, Curry products, headphones, watches and UA ICON, all of which were ineligible.

Where To Shop?

Last year’s Black Friday sale was valid at underarmour.com and the UA Shop App, only for U.S. and Canadian customers. Orders placed by phone or purchases at Under Armour Brand or Factory House stores were excluded from the sale.

Vans’ Black Friday sale is typically more like a Thanksgiving weekend sale; they usually start the deal early on Thanksgiving morning itself and run it through the long weekend until Sunday night. You can expect to see another buy-more save-more type of promotion; last year it was $20 off orders of $75, $30 off orders of $100+, or $50 off orders of $150+.

• Rumored start time: Thursday November 24, 2022 (Thanksgiving day).
• Rumored end time: Sunday November 27, 2022.

What Are The Important Exclusions?

If Vans brings back another “buy-more save-more” offer then the only major restrictions are that you can not use any other coupons or discounts, including employee discounts, and can not be applied towards gift card purchases. You also had to spend at least $75 in in a single transition order to qualify for the first tier of the discount.

The Black Friday sale you’ll see coming from Vans is usually an online-only offer available directly at vans.com. You likely won’t find the same promotion at any of their retail or outlet stores.

Our Yankee Candle Black Friday 2022 Predictions

If you love Yankee Candles then we understand you very well — There’s nothing better to get you into that holiday spirt than a lovely scented candle or to help you relax during bath time. And with Black Friday quickly approaching us, you’ll be able to stock up for winter at a good bargain.

In terms of what to expect, here are the offers Yankee Candle ran last Thanksgiving weekend. Expect to see similar prices return (or possibly slightly better as retailers complete for your business given these worsening economic times).

• 9-piece Festive FragranceTote bag priced at $40 with any other $20 or more purchase (valued at over $100 if items purchased separately).
• Mix and match buy 3 get 3 free across the entire store on all full priced items (discount offered on the lower priced items from those you choose).
• New additions to their sale and clearance sections.

Generally, Yankee Candle’s Black Friday sale starts on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving and runs all weekend long. Although you’ll notice in their emails that they place a sense of urgency for you to buy sooner than later but typically then extend the offer. We’re expecting a new sale to emerge for Cyber Monday.

What Are The Important Exclusions?

The most notable exclusions from last year’s Yankee Candle Black Friday sale were that you couldn’t stack/combine offers or coupons with any ones that were not specifically mentioned during the promotional period. Price adjustments also will not be made on any of your previous purchases. Other exclusions may apply but we didn’t find anything specific in their terms (the complete terms can be found in the ad scan posted below).

Yankee Candle typically runs their Black Friday sale at all of their U.S. stores and at yankeecandle.com (prices at their Canadian stores may vary). However last year in-store shoppers were able to choose the Large Candle fragrance and tote bag color of their choice while online shoppers had a limited section but were offered free shipping on orders of $75 or more. Other than that, the deals were the same regardless where you went.

Our Yeti Black Friday 2022 Predictions

Deals on Yeti coolers are usually hard to come by, but fortunately… Black Friday changes that. Yeti’s Black Friday sale typically runs from Black Friday itself to Cyber Monday (except for last year where they didn’t run a sale, likely due to the COVID-19 pandemic). You can expect them to offer a free gift with purchase of quailing Tundra, Roadie or Hopper coolers. In some years it’s a free pack of Yeti Ice. In other years its a free 64-oz rambler bottle. Be on the lookout for a similar type of promotion to return.

Unfortunately it’s never a percentage off discount. Although, who knows, maybe the current downturn in the economy and inflationary pressures may change all that. Keep your fingers crossed!

Yeti typically runs their Black Friday sale from early Friday morning through Cyber Monday. That means you’ll have plenty of time deciding which cooler to buy, assuming it doesn’t sell out before you make your decision.

What Are The Important Exclusions?

You can expect any free gift offer to not be valid on purchases of the Silo water color or the Daytip such bag. For all of the qualifying products, the offers are typically only available for U.S. customers shipping their purchase within the states. Plus, don’t expect to be able to combine the offer with any other coupon codes or discounts that you may have. Certain limit restrictions per household may also apply.

Yeti’s Black Friday deals are typically valid both at yeti.com and at all Yeti-owned retail stores. Third party resellers of Yeti products, such as REI, are always excluded from the promotion.

Our West Elm Black Friday 2022 Predictions

We’re expecting West Elm to once again offer 40% to 70% off select sale items and a coupon code for an extra 25% off in their clearance section. Long gone are the days where they offered a “buy-more save-more” type of sale where you could have saved from 15% to 30% off your total purchase depending on how much you spent in a single transaction.

The sale typically runs both in-stores and online so it doesn’t matter where you choose to shop. However if you end up shopping online then they’ve historically offered free shipping as well (only excluding bulky items like rugs and furniture).

Expected Sale Start/End Times

Just like the trend that we’re seeing with many other stores lately, West Elm typically launches their Black Friday sale in the days leading up to Thanksgiving. Here’s what we’re expecting to see this year:

• Rumored start time: Monday, November 21, 2022.
• Rumored end time: Sunday, November 27, 2022.

What Are The Important Exclusions?

You can expect the usual exclusions that you typically see with storewide discounts: not valid on gift card purchases and prior purchases. You also won’t be able to retroactively apply the offer to previous purchases. Expect to see some sale items marked as “final sale” which means they cannot be returned for a refund or exchanged.

Another exception to keep in mind is for anyone who’s planning on visiting West Elm’s Henderson or El Paso stores, as well as any West Elm Outlet locations, as there’s a chance that these stores may not be participating in the exact same sale as you’ll see at West Elm’s retail locations.

Where To Shop?

West Elm usually runs the same Black Friday sale in stores and online at WestElm.com. Just keep in mind that most locations will likely be closed all day on Thanksgiving day itself (that’s on November 24, 2022).

Our UGG Black Friday 2022 Predictions

If you’re already familiar with the sales that UGG Australia runs throughout the year then you won’t be surprised to see that their “UGG Closet” opens up over Thanksgiving weekend. The sale is online-only with several pages of deals for women, men and kids. Discounts range from 30% off for the newer arrivals and up to 40% off exclusive styles, all the way up to 60% off for last-chance clearance items. Free ground shipping is typically included on all orders throughout the event.

Expected Sale Start/End Times

• Rumored start time: Tuesday November 22, 2022 (two days before Thanksgiving).
• Rumored end time: Monday November 28, 2022 or while supplies last.

Generally, UGG’s Black Friday sale begins a few days before Thanksgiving and ends in the evening on Cyber Monday. However, we’ve noticed in year’s past that many of the best bargains will either sell out in in certain sizes/colors or sell out completely well before the officially posted end date.

What Are The Important Exclusions?

Because UGG’s Black Friday sale is limited to preselected sale items, only items on that list will qualify for the posted sale price — Not everything is on sale. It will be limited to select colors and styles, no substitutions allowed. Just keep in mind that the sale is limited to in-stock merchandise and items may sell out early in popular sizes.

The Black Friday sale run by UGG Closet is only available for U.S. shoppers ordering at ugg.com. But you’ll also find that all of UGG’s Factory Outlet stores will also be running a separate sale of their own all Thanksgiving weekend long. Just be sure to double check the opening times in your location before heading out to shop as they will vary.

Our Tory Burch Black Friday 2022 Predictions

We expect Tory Burch to once again offer select sale items at up to 50% off and all remaining full-priced items at 30% off when you spend $250 or more during their Black Friday sale this year. Tory Burch has basically been running the same deal these last few years now (since 2015) so we’re 99% confident that we’ll see the same offer here in 2022.

Free shipping is typically also included for those shopping their site. Unfortunately for those of you overseas, the sale is usually restricted to shoppers in the U.S. and Canada only.

Expected Sale Start/End Times

Tory Burch is one of those stores that won’t make you camp out all night on Thanksgiving day in order for you to take advantage of their best deals. They usually start the sale a week before Thanksgiving and end it right after Cyber Monday.

• Rumored end time: Sunday November 27, 2022 at 11:59 PM PT.

You’ll have to check the store nearest you for opening hours as some locations may not be open on Thanksgiving day.

Our Zales Black Friday 2022 Predictions

Zales has pretty much been running the same Black Friday sale these last few years: Starting about a week before Thanksgiving, you an expect them to offer the entire store at 30% off to 50% off, with a handful of clearance specials discounted all the way up to 75% off. You also expect free shipping when shopping their site and as well as a 60-day risk-free return policy. The sale usually ends on Cyber Monday so there’s usually plenty of time to browse the specials and to make your decision.

Some of last year’s featured offers included:

• Diamond stud earrings on sale from $59/pair (originally from $169).
• Birthstone pendants priced from $48.98 (originally from $69.99).
• Various stocking stuffers in clearance priced from just $29.99 (up to 75% off the original price). These included both rings and necklaces finished in silver.
• Diamond heart pendant inlaced with round cut diamonds on sale for $499.98 (originally $1069).
• Anniversary diamond rings on sale for $1499.98 (originally $3339).

Expected Sale Start/End Times

• Rumored start time: November 16, 2022 (about a week before Thanksgiving).
• Rumored end time: November 28, 2022 (Cyber Monday) or while supplies last.

Zales usually kicks off their Black Friday deals around a week before Thanksgiving. But if you’re joined to their newsletter then you’ll likely receive a “VIP Black Friday” invitation to shop early, usually around the first week of November. We would recommend that you wait because the pre-event deals were only 25% off storewide as opposed to the better 30% to 50% off offered later on.

What Are The Important Exclusions?

All storewide sales come with a short list of exceptions and exclusions, and Zales is no different. Last year select watches, ArtCarved class rings, previously owned jewelry, select designer collections, Design Suite, Create Your Own program styles, loose diamonds, specially priced items, special events, and special orders did not fall under the storewide discount. Also excluded were shipping charges, gift card purchases, and additional warranty purchases. Obviously, no additional discounts or coupons were allowed during the duration of the event. Generally, Zales’ Black Friday sales are offered in all of their retail stores and at zales.com. Factory Outlet stores may or may not participate in the same promotion. Just keep in mind that selection will vary by location so if that ring, bracelet, necklace or watch that you were waiting to get is no longer in stock at your nearest store, you can always check online to see if it’s still available.

Our ZARA Black Friday 2022 Sale Predictions

Just like we’ve seen for the last six years in a row, you can expect ZARA to once again bring back a huge Black Friday sale starting in the last afternoon on Thanksgiving day itself. Last year it was up to 40% off select items. No coupon is typically needed as the discount is automatically taken at the register during checkout. You can expect to see something similar return this year again for one day only.

One thing to keep in mind is that ZARA’s Black Friday sale is usually very popular and as it is every year, their most popular items/sizes tend to sell out quickly. So if you plan on shopping online or in-stores then we recommend getting there early. But either way you’ll have to be quick because the sale is typically only valid for around 24 hours or so.

Expected Sale Start/End Times

ZARA has been pretty much consistent with their Black Friday start and end times these last few years. Here’s what we’re expecting:

• Rumored start time: Thursday November 24, 2022 at 7:00pm EST / 4:00pm PST online and in stores when they open on Friday morning (store opening times vary by location). But if you had ZARA’s app on your phone or tablet the you were given 1-hour early access to the sale when shopping online (starting 6:00pm EST). Due to the time change, in Europe the sale begins on Friday November 25, 2022 at 1:00AM online (or at midnight with the app) and in-stores when they open later on Friday morning.
• Rumored end time: Friday November 25, 2022 at local store closing time. Online, the sale is expected to end at midnight PST.

What Are The Important Exclusions?

As always, some items may be excluded. That usually includes any non-clothing related items not in their current collection (i.e. gift cards, express shipping charges, etc.). Their Black Friday ads don’t usually include any terms so there’s usually no unexpected surprises.

Where To Shop?

You’ll be able to shop the sale at zara.com or your nearest store. For those of you in the U.S., all locations were closed on Thanksgiving day but opened earlier that normal on Friday.

In UK and across Europe we found that most ZARA stores operated as usual on Black Friday with most locations opening by 10:00am local time. Although this may vary by country.
