Our Ancestry Black Friday 2022 Predictions
Ancestry DNA kits have been among the best selling Christmas gifts these last few years in a row. That’s not surprising because it’s become relatively inexpensive to open up a wealth of information about your heritage and family linage through one of these simple tests. And with recent accuracy improvements and substantial increases database information, it’s one of the best times to try it out.
Fortunately, Black Friday is coming up and Ancestry historically runs one of their best sales of the year over Thanksgiving weekend. Based on last year’s sale, here’s what we’re expecting them to offer this year:
- $50 off their most popular AncestryDNA kit.
- $70 off AncestryHealth Core (not available in NY, NJ or RI).
- All Ancestry gift membership plans on sale for 50% off the list price.
Expected Sale Start/End Times
- Rumored start time: Thursday November 24, 2022 (Thanksgiving day).
- Rumored end time: Cyber Monday November 28, 2022 or while supplies last.
Generally, Ancestry’s Black Friday sale runs all Thanksgiving weekend long and into Cyber Monday. They typically have some early deals leading up to the long weekend but we’ve noticed that they are usually not as good so, if nothing changes, it’ll be worth it to wait until Thanksgiving day itself to shop.
Where To Shop?
Ancestry’s official Black Friday offer is typically only available when ordering at ancestry.com. However, keep your eyes open for other deals on Ancestry DNA kits this Thanksgiving weekend from popular resellers like Best Buy, Target and Amazon.
