Calvin Klein is known for offering several big sales every year, and with the current economic downturn, we can only assume the deals to be better than ever before. Assuming that’s the case, we may even see something better than the up to 20% to 70% off site-wide sale they ran last year.

They’ve also been know for running daily flash offers through Thanksgiving weekend — Be on the lookout for rotating a 20% off coupon codes available on a different category of items all weekend long (i.e. on Black Friday you can see was on outerwear and sweaters, Saturday on Men’s multipacks and Sunday it was on monogram apparel). If you’re joined to their newsletter then you can expect to receive a daily email in your email box throughout the event with the details.

If Calvin Klein’s site-wide promo returns this year then certain items — like select apparel, bags and underwear — are likely to be excluded from the offer again. We also expect all fragrance and clearance items to be excluded as well. All exclusions will be listed on their site once the sale is officially live. Our Build a Bear Black Friday 2022 Predictions

We’ve looked back at what Build a bear offered on Black Friday these last few years and, although the deals differ slightly from year to year, you can expect to see the following here in 2022:

• All make-your-own furry friends at $10/each.
• Two limited edition holiday-themed stuffed bears on sale between $6 to $8/each (we’ve noticed that the sale price varies year to year). Last year they were “Snow Cute” boys and girls holiday themed snowman bears.
• Online shoppers get free SmartPost U.S. shipping with any purchase of $45 or more.

These are our predictions so just keep in mind that the actual 2022 sale prices, toys offered and promotion duration will vary. Build a Bear’s ads are typically not leaked early so keep an eye out for the official details to be announced early on Thanksgiving day.

• Rumored start time: Monday November 21, 2022 online and in-stores.

We’re expecting ASICS to repeat a similar Black Friday sale from last year: Up to 50% off doorbuster deals plus $30 off your total order of $200+ with free shipping site-wide. Just a few items were excluded from the offer (see the official terms below for what those were). The sale lasted all Thanksgiving weekend long so there was no rush to shop early.

Expected Sale Start/End Times

• Rumored start time: Tuesday November 22, 2022 (2 days before Thanksgiving).
• Rumored end time: Tuesday November 29, 2022 or while supplies last.

ASICS’ Black Friday sale last year begin a few days before Thanksgiving and ended the day after Cyber Monday. However you can also expect to see select styles at a pre-Black Friday event also in the weeks leading up to the long holiday weekend.

What Are The Important Exclusions?

If we assume ASICS runs (pun intended!) a similar store-wide percentage-off sale as they did last year, then you can expect to see some shoe models to be excluded from the offer. You can see the complete list of what those were in the official terms and conditions listed below.

Other than that, standard exclusions applied just like what we usually see at other stores. Those include gift card purchase, taxes, shipping charges, and previous purchases, all of which are ineligible for any additional discounts. On top of that, it’s possible certain quantity limits may be in place to discourage unauthorized resellers and prevent fraudulent transactions.

Our Ancestry Black Friday 2022 Predictions

Ancestry DNA kits have been among the best selling Christmas gifts these last few years in a row. That’s not surprising because it’s become relatively inexpensive to open up a wealth of information about your heritage and family linage through one of these simple tests. And with recent accuracy improvements and substantial increases database information, it’s one of the best times to try it out.

Fortunately, Black Friday is coming up and Ancestry historically runs one of their best sales of the year over Thanksgiving weekend. Based on last year’s sale, here’s what we’re expecting them to offer this year:

• $50 off their most popular AncestryDNA kit.
• $70 off AncestryHealth Core (not available in NY, NJ or RI).
• All Ancestry gift membership plans on sale for 50% off the list price.

Generally, Ancestry’s Black Friday sale runs all Thanksgiving weekend long and into Cyber Monday. They typically have some early deals leading up to the long weekend but we’ve noticed that they are usually not as good so, if nothing changes, it’ll be worth it to wait until Thanksgiving day itself to shop.

Our Adobe Black Friday 2022 Predictions

Since 2015, basically since they stopped updating their Creative Suite line and switched over entirely to the Creative Cloud subscription model, Adobe’s Black Friday offer has been pretty similar same year after year. Again for 2022 you can be on the lookout for 40% off select Adobe CC subscription plans (or 70% off if you’re a qualifying student). Last year we saw the following:

— Creative Cloud All Apps Annual Plan on sale for $29.99/month ($20.00 off/month for the first year).

— Creative Cloud All Apps Student Plan on sale for $15.99/month ($5.00 off/month for the first year).

Then if you decided to continue your subscription the price automatically jumped up to the regular retail price.

Expected Sale Start/End Times

• Rumored start time: Monday November 14, 2022.
• Rumored end time: Friday November 25, 2022.

We’ve noticed that Adobe almost always starts their Black Friday sales a little over a week before Thanksgiving. In terms of the end-date, you can expect all messaging prior to Black Friday to advertise the offer expiration date on Black Friday itself (that’s on November 25th). However, every year for the last few years it’s “extended” nearly the same deal at the last moment up through Cyber Monday.

What Are The Important Exclusions?

Generally, Adobe’s subscription discounts are available to new customers only. You’ll also only be able to take advantage of the offer if purchasing directly from Adobe site, not at any of their resellers. You can expect to see a limit of one discounted subscription plan per customer. We’ve posted their official terms and conditions from last year below so you can check it out below for full details on what’s usually excluded from the offer.

Another notable exception is any perpetual software — i.e. Lightroom, Acrobat, Photoshop Elements, and any older CS6 boxed software. As Adobe’s business has shifted toward the subscription model they do not typically offer discounts on any of their other product lines.

Adobe doesn’t have any physical stores in the U.S. so your only option to pick up their Black Friday deal will be at adobe.com. Just keep in mind that for those of you shopping in Europe or Asia the price points and discounts may vary in your local currency.

Our American Girl Black Friday 2022 Sale Predictions

American Girl is one of those stores that typically runs their Black Friday sale all Thanksgiving weekend long, online starting on Thursday night (Thanksgiving day) and in-stores on Black Friday morning when doors open at 8:00AM. Last year online shoppers could pick up 50% off on special collections and doll accessories (most of the best sellers sold out in a matter of hours) and $15 to $60 off on top of that depending on how much you spent in a single transaction. Be on the lookout for a similar deal to return again for 2022.

But what about their dolls, aren’t they also on sale? Yes and No. Most 18″ dolls are excluded from the offers (that will likely also include Corinne Tan, the brave mountain climber, who’s the the 2022 girl of the year). Also, don’t expect to see any of the other popular dolls clearance priced.

— Rumored start time: Thursday November 24, 2022 online and Friday November 25, 2022 in-stores.

Just keep in mind that regardless if you’re shopping online or in-stores this year, everything is “while supplies last”. Last year we saw some of the most popular outfits and accessories sell out quickly so it’s a good idea to plan on shopping as early as you can if you have your heart set on a specific item.

If you happen to miss out on American Girl’s Black Friday sale this year then you’ll get your second chance on Cyber Monday. Last Year they offered 20% off all orders of $100 or more during their Cyber Monday sale.

As always there will be some exclusions when taking advantage of American Girl’s Black Friday deals. Online they had their deals posted a special page so it was pretty much straight forward what was included and what wasn’t. In-stores all the sale items were clearly marked so if an item didn’t have a sale tag on it then it wasn’t included. Your favorite sneakers at 40% to 50% off? Yup, that’s what we’re expecting assuming Adidas brings back the same Black Friday sale as they did last year.

Last year Adidas offered 100+ of shoes, apparel and accessories at up to 50% off. The sale was live at adidias.com and at all Adidas Sports Performance and Adidas Originals stores within the United States. You just had to shop quickly as many of their most popular deals sold out in a matter of hours.

Expected Sale Start/End Times

• Rumored early access: On or around November 14, 2022 for all Adidas Creators Club members.
• Rumored start time: Wednesday November 23, 2022 (a day before Thanksgiving).
• Rumored end time: Saturday November 26, 2022 or while supplies last.

You’ll notice that the Black Friday sale at Adidas usually begins a day before Thanksgiving and ends on the Saturday after Black Friday. But before then, early access is often given to their “Creators Club” members (it’s free to signup on their site). Afterwards, they have historically extended the same offer through Cyber Monday but this time online-only.

The Black Friday deals at Adidas are limited to just a predefined list so really only the items that are there on sale. Just remember that there will be limited colors and styles with no substitutions allowed. Abercrombie & Fitch has been historically very predictable with the Black Friday sales they run — we’re expecting to see them offer 30% off site and storewide most items they sell (with a few exclusions of course!). Free shipping is also typically included for all online shoppers as well.

Expected Sale Start/End Times

• Rumored start time: Thursday November 24, 2022 online and in-stores on Friday November 25, 2022 at 6:00PM when doors open (Thanksgiving Day). Early access to the event is expected for newsletter subscribers starting on Monday November 20, 2022.
• Rumored end time: End of day on Cyber Monday, November 28, 2022 or while supplies last.

Kate Spade is known for having several “surprise” sales throughout the year but the best one always comes around Thanksgiving weekend. We are expecting them to once again offer deals at up to 75% off, starting about a week before Thanksgiving, with daily deals all throughout, ending in the evening on Cyber Monday. The only catch is that it’s all “final sale” so you have to be careful and think twice before you buy.

Kate Spade’s “Surprise” sale will again likely differ than the deals you’ll find at their retail and outlet stores.  Last year these locations offered up to 50% off on select handbags and wallets with promo code. The selection always changes from year to year.

• Rumored start time: Wednesday November 18, 2020 (abut a week before Thanksgiving).
• Rumored end time: Monday November 30, 2020 or while supplies last.

With the Coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19) keeping many of us at home this year, you’re probably spending a lot more time on cleaning up around the house. And with Black Friday just around the corner, it may be a good time to upgrade your old vacuum to a nice, self-cleaning Roomba from iRobot.

In terms of the deals that we’re expecting to see this year, the offers will likely mirror those from last year: Up to $250 off on select models. The featured offers included the Roomba 960 on sale for $399.99 (normally $649.99) and Braava jet m6 robotic mop on sale for $399.99 (normally $499.99). Free ground shipping, a 60 day money-back guarantee and 1-year limited warranty was also included with all purchases. Plus, 0% financing was available for those who qualified.

• Rumored start time: Thursday November 26, 2020 (Thanksgiving Day).

We’ve noticed that in year’s past, iRobot typically does not run a separate Cyber Monday offer but extends their Black Friday sale well into Cyber Week.

In terms of exclusions that we are expecting, there aren’t that many. It’s likely that free shipping will remain but only for addresses within the continental United States. You won’t be able to stack or apply any additional coupons or discounts on top of the advertised Black Friday sale prices. Offer will apply only to select vacuum models and some models will not be on sale (usually apples to their newest releases). And finally, although not mentioned in iRobot’s terms and conditions, there will likely be order limits in place to combat bulk resellers for ordering and prevent fraudulent transactions.
